After a long few days in the hospital, we finally went home to show Emma and Zoe their house!!! When we got there, they were sound asleep in their car seats!

Now it's time for life to start getting real as a family of 5! Who knew that in an instant things could change so quickly.

And thus, our adventure begins....

so...this happened...

Well, it has clearly been a while since posting anything on our blog and if you are friends with me on Facebook, you know why we are so behind, and if not, then you are about to.

Let me back track for a minute...my last post was about Evan's first birthday party! That was an awesome celebration! We had family and friends at our house and food and fun! It could not have been more perfect! A few short weeks later I went to the doctor and while everything was fine, I ended up making an appointment for a follow up appointment which ended up happening in December, Christmas Eve to be exact. When I went to the doctor, in conversing with the nurse, told her that I may be a couple of days late. This was a rare occurrence for me, at which point she asked me if I wanted to take a pregnancy test. I of course did not, considering we had just celebrated Evan's 1st birthday and if any of you remember what that delivery was like for me, I was never going through that again! Anyways, I digress!

To make a long story short, I took a test and of course It was POSITIVE! WHAT!!!!???? I what??? In the exact words of the nurse, Gina, when she came into the room to tell me, "hey Jennie, well, I don't know if you wanted it to be positive or negative, but it was really positive!"

I was definitely surprised!

After that, we left my doctor's office and went to the Christmas party as usual and acted as if everything was normal. We told no one. I made an appointment for January when I should be about 7 weeks and we waited.
