We are getting closer and closer to the big day...here is a 31 week update!
Besides growing bigger by the week, I am definitely getting a bit more uncomfortable.
I am carrying Tshabalalah very high up, so it gets a little bit difficult to breathe sometimes. He is doing a lot of kicking, which I like, because I know that he is okay! Though, he really likes my bladder and my ribs, which gets somewhat painful if I am in a certain position. Sleeping is still okay, though I wake up every hour and a half to go potty.
We are really looking forward to meeting the little guy in 9 weeks!

All strapped in and ready for a stroll...
Yep...you guessed it! Our stroller has arrived! After much contemplation, we ended up going with the UPPABABY. We decided to go with a dashing red color, which will be great for Tshabalalah, as well as any more kids we have, boy or girl! As soon as it arrived, we had to open it to check to make sure that it was just perfect!
It came in two boxes, and we opened them both.
After each box was opened, Brad opened the frame and added the wheels. It was super easy to assemble, though there was a serious instruction guide!
We have success!
Now that our stroller has wheels, we thought it would be a good idea to attach the toddler seat...knowing that we will not be using for a little while, we wanted to get the full picture! Here we are standing with our new stroller....
We love the red color, and the adjustable seat is going to be awesome when Tshabalalah is born! The storage at the bottom is amazing and will be so helpful to have doing errands or going for a walk!
Our next step was to attach the bassinet and see how it fit into the frame. This is probably the attachment that we will use mostly at the beginning, right after Tshabalalah is born. We have heard that the bassinet is amazing to have, which is one of the main reasons we picked the UPPABABY! Here is Brad with the bassinet before we attached it to the frame!
After trying to remember how it detaches, we got a snapshot of me with our new stroller.
Our adventure was so much fun! We are sure that it will only get better when Tshabalalah gets here! We look forward to being able to go for walks and run errands with such a stylish stroller in tow!

museum outing!
Today was so fun! Tiffany and I had a fun outing to the KidSpace Museum in Pasadena with the girls, Cami and Cassie of course!! We had the idea to do something "fun and different" with the girls, and since it is so hot outside, we thought we would do something inside. When we came up with the idea to go to KidSpace, we had no idea that it would be mostly outside....but despite all of that, we had so much fun!
With a little drama getting to our place, between Tiffany's garage trouble and LA traffic, she made it and we were on our way to KidSpace! With Cami and Cassie in tow, we headed to Pasadena! we got off the freeway and made it down to the Rose Bowl to park, when we realized there was not so much gas in the car. We decided to deal with it later so that we could get to the museum!
We had arrived! There was so much to do for these kids! There was a whole separate building where we went into first. We let Cami run and explore and while she was climbing up to the top of some blue, multi-level, climbing gym type thing, Cassie and I were chillin at the bottom, watching Cami climb!
As you can see in the above pic, Cassie is as happy as a clam watching her big sis be adventurous!
As the day went on, Cassie needed to eat, and so Cami and I went to do some more adventuring while Tiffany gave Cassie her bottle. We (and when I say we, I mean Cami, as my baby belly is way too big to be crawling into ant holes) went downstairs and climbed up the ant hole, drove a truck, watched large bugs crawl around their cages, and of course painted a large leaf. This leaf periodically shoots out water, so that what you are painting gets erased. Cami loved the painting and would have stayed in that one spot all day, if I let her.
I was able to tear Cami away from the painting long enough to take a potty break, for both of us, as I have a baby jumping on mine! After the potty, we went for a walk around the outside area. She squirted water at some drums, climbed on a rock climbing wall, and ate some fruit snacks!
We then made our way to a room where kids can play inside, with mats and toys. Cami, of course, made friends while we were in there, as did Cassie. She really seemed to enjoy crawling around and getting dirty, while putting anything and everything in her mouth that she could possibly find.
Today was soo much fun! I love spending time with Tiffany and her two amazing girls, Cami and Cassie! I have to be honest when I also say that I was exhausted by the end of the day! Between snack time, seeing every exhibit (some of them twice), potty breaks, and changing diapers, we did so much in such a short period of time! Tiffany is a wonderful mother and I cannot believe how much energy she has for those girls! I hope I have that much energy to keep up with Tshabalalah when he comes at the end of October!
Today was a wonderful day and I look forward to many more play dates, both before and after Tshabalalah is born! Thanks Tiff! And of course, thanks for spending the day with me, Cami and Cassie!
